ANd the Winner of The 2009 NFC North Division is…….Da Bears!!

In a huge move to instill hope for Chicago Bear fans, the Bears acquired Jay Cutler for Kyle Orton, two first round draft picks, plus a third round pick and one more supplemental draft pick.
The Beras sighned some protection for Cutler also, by snagging Orlando Pace.
This move helps Oakland and San Diego also. With Cutler out of the division, and Kansas City still rebuilding, look for the Chargers and the Raiders to slug it out for the AFC West.
I had picked the Vikings to repeat as that division winner, but now i chose the Bears.
Philadelphia and New York should be near the top of the NFC East, as Dallas is not looking like they van keep up. Washington also has not made enough moves to keep up with the offenses off Philadelphia and New York.
New England looks very good in the AFC East with Miami perhaps snatvhing another wild card entry.
Pittsburgh should win their division once more, with Baltimore grabbing the wild card.
In the NFC South, look for New Orleans to battle with Atlanta for that division. Carolina will have a drop off in production this season and Tampa Bay looks to be dreadful.
Indianapolis and Houston will compete strongly for the AFC Central, while Tennessee may be in the mix also. This may be the closest contested division in football this coming season. Look for Houston to really step up in 2009.
Congratulations to Chicago for finally landing a franchise quarterback.

early april in the PGA

this week the PGA Tour heads for Humble Texas and the Shell Houston Open. Johnson Wagner will defend his title from last season.
It will be interesting to see if he can play well, as their have been no repeat champions very often with the exception of Tiger Woods.
Tiger won last week, with a thrilling birdie putt on 18, in Tiger like fashion.
This week will be hard to predict a winner as Tiger is not playing.
My fantasy team this week will include Camilo Villegas,Rory McElroy, J J Henry and last years winner, Johnson Wagner.
On the bench in case of missed cuts or poor play will be Anthony Kim, Lucas Glover, Scott Piercy, and Charles Howell III.
Next week at the Masters, i will predict Tiger gets another green jackets and edges closer to his goal of 17 major victories to overtake Jack Nicklaus and his 16 majors.
If Tiger wins at Augusta next week, no field will be safe this season from the roar of the Tiger.
Maybe this season may shape into his finest ever. Wait and see.
